With a variety of online classes and in person classes Allison's Pure Pilates helps you regain your life whether you are in the United Kingdom or around Umhlanga, Durban North and La Lucia for an in person session.
Pilates
Pilates is so much more than core, body strength and exercise. It is a lifestyle of great breathing, body alignment, acquainting yourself with your own body, and discovering and learning the language of your body. Every session should create an opportunity for you to discover more of yourself.
TRE®
TRE® is a recently developed form of exercises that allow the body to naturally release tension, stress and trauma, with gentle exercise that trigger the body’s natural tremor mechanism. As with Pilates, every session should create an opportunity to let go of patterns and habits that your body is holding, most times without even know about them, and to discover more of yourself.
A Combination
Both Pilates and TRE® are mind body practices, which means, there is a need to be totally focused and aware of the body, this is called embodiment. During both these practices, one does not empty the mind or think freeing thoughts, one focuses completely on the body; its reactions, responses and abilities.
Restoration
During a Restore workshop or day retreat, you will have the opportunity to take time out of your busy life to Refresh, Restore and Revive yourself You will leave Rejoicing. These events are planned to help you recover, find peace, and provide opportunity for introspection. In this safe space, you get an opportunity to release the fascia, breathe and align and finally shake out the tension with some TRE®. Full day retreats include a fascia release massage, a chat session with a psychologist, fellowship with others and delicious refreshments
The Structure Of Inside Out
Initially I need to have a one-on-one consultation and assessment preferably done at one of my studios, but also possible by booking a zoom appointment.

During that session which lasts an hour, I will learn; your history of any injuries or health issues, what your expectations are and how I can help you.

I will assist you in understanding about your posture.

How and why your body is reacting the way it is, if you have issues/ailments/pain.
